11 Months Old

It's hard to believe that Hudson is almost a year old! I have been so busy that I haven't updated about the things he's been doing. Two biggies: He now gets his formula in a sippy cup in preparation for going to whole milk in a couple of weeks. The first day was rough, but now he's doing great. He's drinking less and eating more, which is what we wanted. Another big thing is the walking!!!!! He has really taken off. He's walking more and more each day, and is up to about 75% of the time now. He still has the Frankenstein lurch going, but he's very quick and getting more and more steady on his feet. He can even carry stuff around with him now. We are so proud of our baby! Another fun thing is constantly adding to his diet. He is eating fresh fruits and veggies diced up, chicken, turkey, and tofu for protein, as well as small pasta, lentils and sometimes mushed up beans. I feel like a short order cook some days! He is waving bye- bye and pointing at things he wants. He has started being more affectionate and actually stopping to hug his mommy now and then. This has been the best year of our lives and we couldn't love him more if we tried!
